Project Overview
Armstrong Scaffolding installed access scaffolding for balcony repair works on a multi-storey residential building in East London. The scaffold was positioned to serve a vertical line of balconies, giving contractors direct working access across several levels of the elevation.
Site Constraints
This project needed a scaffold arrangement that could reach each balcony level without taking over more space than necessary at ground level. On residential blocks like this, the setup often needs to focus on one section of the building rather than wrapping the entire facade.
Scaffold Layout
We erected a narrow access scaffold aligned with the stacked balconies on the building face. Working platforms were installed at multiple levels, allowing repair work to be carried out level by level with direct access beside each balcony.
This created a clean, targeted scaffold setup tailored to the balcony line rather than a broader full-building arrangement.
Outcome
The finished scaffold provided straightforward access for balcony repairs on a busy residential site in East London. It is a strong example of how the right scaffold layout can give contractors exactly the access they need without adding unnecessary structure elsewhere on the building.
